The Himachal Pradesh Police Department under Govt. of Himachal Pradesh has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 1,063 vacancies to the post of Constables - Male, Female and Driver through direct recruitment. The online application process towards the same starts from March 30, 2019 and closes on April 30, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Constables through HP Police Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on January 01, 2019 and must not have exceeded 23 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per the guidelines of the Himachal Pradesh government.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 140 (GEN/UR) and Rs. 35 (SC/ST/OBC/IRDP) respectively as application processing fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode or SBI Challan mode as detailed in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Constables through HP Police Recruitment 2019 must have passed Class 12/HSC or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute.
Candidates applying for the post of Constables-Driver must possess a Heavy Transport Driver License.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Constables through HP Police Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidates' performance in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Personality Test and Medical Scrutiny.

Candidates selected as Constables will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 5,910 to Rs. 34,800 per month with 3,200 as GP.
