Job Description

The Software Development Engineer Intern is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. This role involves creating user-friendly and efficient software solutions that meet specific user needs or business requirements.

• Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for various subsystems, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
• Develop an understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
• Participate as a member of a project team with other software systems engineers and development partners to create reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of DevOps and full-stack development.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Good knowledge of SQL, Angular (Web Framework), and Application Programming Interfaces (API).
• Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and able to undergo a minimum 2-month internship.
