Hindustan University to organise conference on 'Cyber Security'

'Cyber Security' conference by Hindustan

Hindustan University, Chennai, is all set to organise a conference on 'Big Data Analytics and Cyber Security'. The main theme of the conference is to bring together the experts of the Big Data and Cyber Community, from both academia and industry and discuss the recent advances, highlight key issues in the broad and rapid evolving field of Big Data and Cyber Security.

This conference will be organised by Computer Science and Engineering Department of Hindustan University. The department was made with the vision to become centre of excellence in computer education and research and to create a platform for industrial consultancy. The department offers courses like B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer and Communication Engineering and Software Engineering. The department has facilities like computer laboratories, softwares and library. Every year, in order to give knowledge about the latest market trends in the field to the students, department organises workshops, seminars, conferece. Etc.

Call for papers:

Authors are invited to submit orignal research papers for presentation in the following topics:

  • Big Data Infrastructure and Management
  • Big Data Search and Mining
  • Big Data Security and Privacy
  • Cyber Security and Big Data for Cyber Securirty

Registration fees:

  • PG students/ Research Scholars/ Academicians Rs. 1000/-
  • Participants from Industries Rs. 1200/-


Registration form duly filled in along with the DD in favour of 'The Registrar, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science', payable at Chennai, should be sent before 25th February, 2014.

Important dates:

  • Last date for paper submissions 6th February, 2014
  • Notification of acceptance 15th February, 2014
  • Last Date for registration 25th February, 2014
