Haryana relaxes technical courses cut-off marks

Chandigarh, June 30: Haryana Government has relaxed cut-off marks by 10 percentage points for wards of Kashmiri migrants seeking admission in technical courses in colleges and institutes affiliated to the state Technical Education Department.

"The department has also made provision for reservation of one supernumerary seat each in all technical courses except B Arch for wards of Kashmiri migrants," a Haryana Government release said.

The State Technical Education Society, functioning under the department, has also extended the date for submitting applications by wards of Kashmiri migrants for admission to B.E or B.Tech, MBA and MCA courses up to June 30.

Similarly, the date for admission to BE or BTech courses through lateral entry has been extended up to July 31.

The admission brochure for these courses would be available on websites -- www.techeduhry.gov.in, www.hstes.org.
