Haryana Primary Teacher Recruitment 2024: Application Begins at hssc.gov.in for 1456 JBT Posts, Details Here

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has started the application process for 1,456 Primary Teacher (JBT) positions in the Mewat Cadre. The online application portal opened on August 12, 2024, and will be available until August 21, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official HSSC website; hssc.gov.in.

Eligibility criteria require candidates to have completed Senior Secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, applicants must have passed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or the School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).

Vacancy Details and Age Criteria:

There are a total of 1,456 vacancies for Primary Teachers, distributed among various categories, including General, Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (A) (BCA), Backward Classes (B) (BCB), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Ex-Servicemen. Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years of age, with age relaxation available for certain categories.

Pay Scale and Selection Process:

Selected candidates will be offered a pay scale ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800 with a grade pay of ₹4,200.

The selection process involves a written examination conducted offline, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 0.95 marks.

The exam will cover topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi and English), Haryana General Knowledge and Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
