Gujarat Technological University to set up Chinese language centre

The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has signed a memorandum of undertaking (MoU) with the two Chinese universities for students exchange and educational partnership.

The Chinese universities which are signed to GTU are Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan.

The GTU Varsity Registrar, G P Vadodariya said that the MoU has signed for the eight week summer internship programmes between universities, where students and faculty members can exchange ideas and do joint research.

He also said, "We are establishing a Chinese language centre at GTU campus to assist students."

In January 2015, the University will sign MoUs with various Chinese universities for summer internships during Gujarat Summit.
