The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) have announced the results of the 12th Science and Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2023. The results are now available on the official website of GSEB at gseb.org. As per the reports, the pass percentage for this year's exams has dropped to 65.58%, which is lower than the previous year's 72.02%.

The HSC exams for the Science stream were conducted between March 14 and 25, and a total of 1.26 lakh students had registered for it. The GUJCET was held on April 3, and more than 1.26 lakh students had appeared for the entrance test. The results can be checked by entering the roll number, registration number, and email ID on the official website. Compared to last year, the pass percentage has seen a significant drop, which is a matter of concern for the board and the students. However, the board has assured that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure the accuracy and fairness of the evaluation process.
In 2022, the HSC Science exams were held from March 28 to April 8, and the GUJCET was conducted on April 18. The results were announced on May 12. However, in 2021, the exams were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the results were declared based on the scores of Class 10, 11, and 12 in the ratio of 50:25:25.
The GSEB is responsible for conducting and managing the exams for Class 10 and Class 12 in Gujarat. It aims to provide quality education and to improve the academic performance of students in the state. The board conducts the exams in various streams like Science, Commerce, and Arts.
