GSI Recruitment 2019 For 37 Ordinary Grade Drivers; Earn Up To Rs. 63,200 Per Month

The Geological Survey of India (GSI), under the Ministry of Mines, has invited applications in a prescribed proforma from eligible and experienced candidates for filling 37 vacancies to the post of Ordinary Grade Drivers through direct recruitment to be posted across the Southern Region comprising Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala. The offline application process towards the same starts from April 27, 2019 and closes on June 26, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Drivers through GSI Recruitment 2019 must not have exceeded 25 years of age (40 years for departmental candidates), with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as applicable.

Candidates are not required to pay any fee towards application processing or towards the examination as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Drivers through GSI Recruitment 2019 must have passed Matric/Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute and possess Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) driving license.

Candidate must have three-years experience in driving trucks/tractors/jeeps in a recognized organization with expertise in repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Drivers through GSI Recruitment 2019 will be done through an open competitive examination comprising of Trade Test (Practical and Written) and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Drivers will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month

Candidates applying for the post of Drivers through GSI Recruitment 2019 must fill the application form (attached with the advertisement) with all necessary details, and send the same along with self-attested copies of relevant supporting testimonials to the, "Additional Director General & HOD, Geological Survey of India, Southern Region, GSI Complex, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad - 500068," on or before June 26, 2019 by Ordinary/Speed post.

The envelope containing the application form and other documents must be superscribed as, "Application For the Post Of_________".
