GPSC Recruitment For 285 Assistant Engineers (Civil); Apply Before April 18, 2019

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 285 vacancies to the post of Assistant Engineers (Civil) to be posted in the Road and Buildings Department, Govt. of Gujarat through direct selection. Interested candidates can start applying for the post from March 18, 2019 onwards and submit their applications on or before April 18, 2019 by 1:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Assistant Engineers (Civil) through GPSC Recruitment must have attained 20 years of age as on April 18, 2019 and must not have exceeded 35 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved categories as per the Gujarat government guidelines.

Candidates must pay a requisite amount of Rs. 100 as application fee either through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit etc payment gateways) mode or Post-office Challan mode as detailed in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Language Proficiency

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Assistant Engineers (Civil) through GPSC Recruitment must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution and must have knowledge of Computer and its applications.

The candidate must possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi or Both in all its forms - speak, read and write.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Assistant Engineers (Civil) through GPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Examination of competitive nature and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Assistant Engineers (Civil) will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
