Government of West Bengal observes National Education Day

The Government of West Bengal has observes The National Education Day today to celebrate the birth anniversary of independent India's first Minister of Education, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in a befitting manner.

The day is being observed at school level through programmes being carried out for children like drawing competition, quiz competition, gardening, debate competition, essay-writing, and slogan writing.

Apart from the above competitions and activities, the educational institutions are also organising seminars, symposia, rallies with banners and others.
