Glocal University is all geared up to conduct a national conference on 'Women, Change and Leadership'. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the university.
Up to now much of the research on women and leadership has addressed two main themes, namely the differences in both leadership style and leadership effectiveness between women and men and also why women are starkly underrepresented in elite leadership roles.
The conference celebrates the success stories of women leaders and asks what they bring to the table in terms of effective leadership, be it in terms of transformational leadership, collaborative leadership or engaging in contingent reward behaviours, or other dynamics.
Call for papers:
The papers from this conference will be published in an edited book of The Glocal University Press, while a few relevant papers will be published in the upcoming special issue of the international journal of learning and change on the inclusion of the highly skilled migrant women in the global workforce. The best paper will receive an award.
Development papers: These should be approximately 3000-5000 words, including references. This form of submission is suited for more developed ideas and research projects.
Practice papers: These can be written in the form of an essay or opinion piece (200 words).
Empirical papers: These are longer contributions of 7000 to 8000 words, including references.
Stylistic conventions to be followed are according to the Chicago Manual of style and also submission are to be written in British English with 's' spellings.
