GITAM University launches new International Campus at Bangalore

GITAM University launches its new International Campus Near Doddaballapur in Bangalore.

The newly established campus was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao.

The University has planned to open a research centre in Bangalore to work the projects under the areas of Biotechnology, Nanatechnology and Rural Technology.

Karnataka State Revenue Minister was also present in the inaugural ceremony of the campus. He appreciated the work done by the university for establishing the international campus.

GITAM's New International Campus at Bangalore

GITAM University President, MVVS Murthy announced that the university has received 'A' category status by the Minister of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

He also informed that the University received NAAC ‘A' grade and the University Grants Commission (UGC) awarded GITAM with 12B status.

UGC has sanctioned around 150 research projects to the University.

University vice-chancellor G Subrahmanyam, Doddaballapura MLA T Venkataramanaiah and GITAM Bengaluru School of Technology director K Vijayabhaskara Raju were present in the function.
