The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC), under Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible and interested for filling 25 Officers post in the cadre of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) in various streams/disciplines comprising Finance/Accounts, Information Technology (Software), Legal/Automobile/Civil/ Aeronautical/Marine engineering, Company Secretary and Hindi through direct recruitment to be posed at its Head Office in Mumbai and in its other offices across India. The online application-cum-registration process towards the same starts on August 21, 2019 and closes on September 11, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Assistant Managers (Scale-I) posts through GIC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 21 years of age as on August 21, 2019 and not be more than 30 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST), 3 years (OBC/BC) and 10 years (PWD) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (UR/OBC) as application processing and examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the processing and exam fee.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Assistant Managers (Scale-I) posts through GIC Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interview - all for 200 marks.

Candidates selected as Assistant Managers (Scale-I) will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 32,795 to Rs. 62,315 per month.
