The GCET 2023 examination will be conducted on May 13, 14, 2023. The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a state-level engineering entrance examination. It is organized by the Directorate of Technical Education Goa (DTE Goa) for admission to Degree courses in Engineering and Pharmacy (BE, B.Pharm) at Goa Colleges.

Syllabus

Applicants are advised to examine the official GCET 2023 syllabus to learn about the fields of study, parts, and concepts that must be covered for the entrance examination. Applicants who understand the syllabus will be more adequately prepared for the examination and have a better chance of admission. The syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the 11th and 12th grades.

Exam Pattern

Exam format: The GCET 2023 exam will be held only in an offline format.
Total Questions: In the exam, each paper will include 75 questions. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be included in the examination.
Duration: The exam will last two hours to complete the paper.
Marking scheme: Candidates will receive one mark for each right answer.
Negative Marking: The exam will not have any negative marking.

DTE, Goa will distribute the GCET 2023 answer key in the form of a PDF file. Applicants can use the GCET 2023 answer key to estimate their exam marks. Counselling

Following the posting of the results on the GCET official website, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa will issue the GCET 2023 counselling. Before finalising their selections, candidates must first complete the GCET counselling registration 2023. Based on the GCET merit list, candidates who pass the exam will be invited to GCET counselling in 2023.
