To maintain consistency across multiple sessions with varying difficulty levels, a normalization process was applied. This method is based on the assumption that the distribution of candidate abilities remains consistent across sessions. Random allocation of test sessions and ensuring an equal number of candidates per session helped uphold the integrity of the examination.
Candidates who clear the cut-off score will receive their official GATE 2025 scorecards, which remain valid for three years from the result announcement date. These scorecards can be downloaded free of cost from March 28 to May 31. However, after this period, candidates will need to pay a fee of Rs 500 per test paper to access their scorecards, with availability extending until December 31.
