GATE Registration 2025 Without Late Fee ends Today

GATE 2025, scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, is a key exam for students seeking postgraduate education or positions in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The registration process is simple and straightforward. Applicants start by visiting the official website, selecting "Apply Now," and filling in their personal details, examination preferences, and qualification degree information. Next, they must upload a passport-sized photo, a scanned signature, and, if applicable, certificates for category or PwD status. Once all the information is provided, the final step is payment, after which applicants should print the form for future reference.

For female candidates and those from SC, ST, or PwD categories, the registration fee is Rs 900, while for other candidates, including foreign nationals, it's Rs 1,800. For those who miss today's deadline, a late registration window will remain open until October 7, but with an increased fee: Rs 1,400 for the former group and Rs 2,300 for the latter.

GATE scores offer many opportunities. In addition to securing admission to prestigious master's or doctoral programs, successful candidates can use their scores for recruitment into PSUs. For instance, GRID-INDIA will recruit Electrical Engineering candidates through GATE 2025. Furthermore, IIT Kanpur's Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) will admit MTech students based on their GATE performance.

In summary, GATE 2025 is a pivotal exam for aspiring engineers and technologists aiming for advanced education or public sector roles. With the registration window closing today, applicants are encouraged to finalize their applications promptly to avoid the late fee and begin preparing for this important examination.
