GATE 2024 Application Correction Window Begins on Nov 18; Steps to Make the Correction

On November 18, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will begin the GATE 2024 application modification window. Candidates who have applied for the GATE 2024 exam and want to make changes to their application form can do so from November 18 to November 24 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in for a fee.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2024. The GATE 2024 test will be held between February 3 and 11, 2024. "There will be no refund of any fee, other than for multiple transactions," the Indian Institute of Science said.

How to Make Corrections to GATE Application Form?

• Candidates can correct details by following the procedure outlined below.
• Visit the official GATE 2024 website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
• Select the GOAPS portal link. Log in with your email address and password.
• Click the "Edit Application Form" button.
• Choose the information that needs to be changed and make the appropriate changes.
• Submit the form by clicking the Submit button.

Candidates must pay an INR 500 correction fee to modify details such as name, date of birth, examination city, paper category, and gender. They will have to spend INR 1,400 to change their gender from female to any other category, as well as their category from SC or ST to any other. The GATE 2024 repair window will be active until November 24.The deadline for making changes to the application form is November 24. According to the institute, the delay in launching the GATE correction window is due to operational issues.
