GAIL Executive Trainee Vacancy and Disciplines

The recruitment is being announced for four engineering disciplines:

• Executive Trainee (Chemical) - Chemical Engineering, including eligible branches such as Petrochemical and related disciplines.

• Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) - Instrumentation Engineering and specified equivalent branches.

• Executive Trainee (Electrical) - Electrical Engineering and specified equivalent branches.

• Executive Trainee (Mechanical) - Mechanical Engineering and specified equivalent branches.

GAIL Executive Trainee Eligibility Criteria 2027

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline with at least 65% marks. The eligibility requirements differ slightly according to the Executive Trainee discipline.

Candidates applying under eligible reserved categories may receive relaxation in the minimum educational percentage as prescribed in the recruitment conditions. Applicants should carefully check the detailed notification before applying.

The upper age limit is 26 years as on March 18, 2027, with applicable age relaxation for eligible reserved and other categories according to GAIL's recruitment rules.

GAIL Executive Trainee Selection Process 2027

After the GATE examination, eligible candidates must separately apply to GAIL using their GATE 2027 registration number. GAIL will shortlist candidates on the basis of their GATE 2027 marks and organisational requirements.
