GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2025: Salary Upto ₹1,80,000, Here's Everything You Need to Know

GAIL India Limited, the country's premier natural gas company, has officially launched its recruitment drive for Executive Trainees through the GATE 2025 examination. This initiative seeks to fill 73 vacancies across key engineering disciplines, including chemical, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and computer science. The online application process begins on February 17, 2025, and will remain open until March 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Interested candidates must apply through GAIL's official website using their GATE 2025 registration number.

Vacancy Distribution

The total 73 vacancies are distributed across different engineering branches, including 7 reserved positions for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), ensuring diversity and inclusivity in GAIL's workforce.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the GAIL Executive Trainee position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech/BSc Engineering) in the relevant discipline with at least 65% marks.
• Candidates passing in 2023 or earlier are not eligible.
• The maximum age limit is 26 years as of March 18, 2025.
• Government, Semi-Government, and PSU employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

The selection process for GAIL's Executive Trainee recruitment will be based on candidates' GATE 2025 scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview, where their technical and analytical skills will be further assessed. The minimum qualifying marks required are:

• General/OBC candidates: 65%
• SC/ST/PwD candidates: 60%

Final-year students must meet these criteria in their last semester and submit their final mark sheet by August 31, 2025.
