French Collaboration In Engineering In India


Mahindra, India-based conglomerate has collaborated with the 2 centuries old Ecolé Centrale Paris, to bring the European model of Engineering Education to the nation. This has resulted in an Engineering Institute in Hyderabad called Mahindra Ecolé Centrale (MEC).

With the admissions still to occur, the college's head Creative Sciences and filmmaker, Hariharan Krishnan interacted with the prospective students regarding the USP of the college.

Merging liberal arts with engineering studies in order to enhance 'flavour' to engineering is one of its focus, he said. The students were given an insight of the industry during the talk arranged for the prospective students, by CEO of Grundfos Pumps India, Ranganathan.
