The fake / pirated textbooks of the CBSE schools are available in Delhi market.
According to sources, some of the schools in Delhi are involved the printing of these fake / pirated textbooks.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi board members conducted an investigation which brought into notice, a major of gangs are involved in publishing these books.
Investigation states that, publishers are printing the fake textbooks in other cities and supplied to Delhi market to sell.
The probe also brought ahead the scarcity of textbooks created intentionally by certain schools in order to give way to monetary gains to the publishers of the duplicate books.
The Board has filed a complaint with the Delhi Police regarding the same.
Students found mistakes in the English textbooks ought to confuse due to errors in pagination.
The CBSE officials informed that the lessons which are printed in these textbooks are not matching with actual textbooks.
Officials are also informed that, some of the schools suggested their students to buy textbooks from particular shop and few such schools are under scanner.
According to the investigation, reports says that publication of these textbooks is taking place in areas of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.
The Board came to figure out about the piracy when the sales of CBSE books were noticed to have declined at some places.
