New turns have taken place in the Ryan International School murder case as the CBI have apprehended a Class 11 student who has allegedly committed the crime. This is in connection with the killing of a seven-year-old schoolboy in Gurgaon's Ryan International School, a couple of months ago.
Reason for the alleged murder
The reason for the Class XI student, who was apprehended late last night, was that he wanted to get a scheduled parent-teacher meeting and an examination postponed, according to a CBI spokesperson.
The school was earlier closed on account of the murder of an eight-year-old student Pradyumnan, who was found dead inside the school premises with his throat slit. The weapon used in the crime has been seized.

Evidence procured
"We have come to the conclusion on the basis of CCTV, forensic evidence and scientific evidence. The student has been apprehended. He remains our prime suspect," the spokesperson said.
The student who is still a juvenile according to the law has been nabbed with the knowledge of his parents. Investigations are further on to confirm all the details gathered. Earlier, a suspect - conductor of the school bus was arrested over the murder and the state government had handed over the probe into the incident to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
