VIT University conducts VITMEE 2014 for M.Tech and MCA admission
VIT University, Vellore, is set to conduct VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE-2014) in June 2014.
VITMEE 2014 entrance exam is conducted for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in Chennai and Vellore campus, commencing in the session 2014-15.
Exam Pattern:
The computer based test (CBT) question paper consists of 110 questions, with a maximum of 100 marks.
There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.
Eligibility:
For MCA:
- Candidates should have a bachelor degree in any branch with at least one of the following subjects at the under graduate level: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics and Business Mathematics.
- Candidates must have 60% of marks from any of the recognised university.
- Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
For M.Tech:
- Candidates should have an B.E / B.Tech degree in Engineering / Technology discipline with 50% of marks from any of the recognised university.
- Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on VITMEE Score and interview conducted by the university.
Application for MCA / M.TECH programme will be available in online at vit.ac.in from the First week of February. VITMEE-2014 will be held in the First week of June 2014.
