UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2014

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) has announced dates for UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2014, for admissions into various programmes at the University.

The eligibility criteria for various programmes at the University is based on the scores secured in UPESEAT 2014.

Up to 80% of the seats are reserved for students who apply for the programmes at the University.

UPESEAT 2014 test pattern:

Objective type of test with the following subjects:

• Mathematics - 50 Questions
• Physics - 50 Questions
• Chemistry - 50 Questions
• English Language Comprehension - 30 Questions
• Current Affairs Awareness - 20 Questions

How to apply?

• Candidates seeking admission to any of the programmes may procure the prospectus and application form from UPES Enrolment Offices at Dehradun/ Delhi on payment of Rs. 1750/- (Rs. 1850/-, if required through post or courier).
• The payment should be made in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of "UPES Fee Account", payable at Dehradun/ Delhi.

Admit card for the test can be downloaded from University's official website on 17th May, 2014

The downloaded admit card with photograph affixed (duly attested) in the space provided will have to be produced at the allotted test center.

Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will not be permitted to take the test.

100% scholarships on tuition fee:

• Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 85% marks in class 12th and 90% marks in PCM for B.Tech. (all streams) in CBSE of ICSE Examination Board. Such scholarship will be limited to 5% seats in each B.Tech. Programme
• Scholarship will be given on the basis of merit only
• Continuation of scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the University policy

The test will be conducted on 24th May, 2014:

• B.Tech All Streams (UPESEAT) - 09:30 - 12:30 Hours - 3 Hours
• B.Des (UPESEAT) - 09:30 - 12:30 Hours - 3 hours
• B. Des (Design Test) - 01:00 - 02:00 Hours- 1 Hour
