TANCET 2014 application form will be available from February

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) application form / online registration for the year 2014 will be available from 01st February.

Anna University, Chennai, has announced TANCET 2014 time table.

TANCET 2014 exam is conducted for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Engineering (ME), Master in Architecture (M.Arch) and Master in Planning (M.Plan) courses commencing in 2014.

The above programmes are offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Centres of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Some of the universities and self-financing Engineering colleges may also opt to admit the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in TANCET 2014.

Exam centres:
Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram and Virudhumagar.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from any of the recognised universities.
• Candidates appearing for the final semester / year of examination of the qualifying degree course, except AMIE during April / May 2014, may also apply for TANCET 2014.

Application fee:

• Rs 500/- for general candidates.
• Rs 250/- for SC / ST / SCA candidates.

Please Note:

• The application form is common for all the three entrance tests. Candidates have to submit only one application form.
• A single demand draft is sufficient for one or more programmes .
