PG Medical/Dental entrance exam PGMDCET 2014 on 5th Jan in Maharashtra

Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Maharashtra, has announced the dates for Postgraduate Medical / Dental Common Entrance Test (PGMDCET) for the year 2014.

PGMDCET 2014 entrance exam is conducted for admission to MD, MS, MDS and PG Diploma Medical and Dental courses across the state.

PGMDCET 2014 is mainly conducted for 50% of Maharashtra state quota seats.

In 2012, Maharashtra state accepted the NEET UG and PG scores for Medical courses admissions.

After Supreme Court quashed the NEET all over the country. DMER has decided to hold their own separate Medical entrance exams for PG Medical courses.

PG Medical entrance exam will be conducted based on the syllabus of PGMDCET 2012.

Online registration for PGMDCET 2014 will commence from 28 Nov to 12 Dec 2013.

PGMDCET 2014 exam will be conducted on 5th January.
