Last date extended for GCET 2014 application form submission

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa has extended the dates for GCET 2014 application form submission, due to the Lok Sabha elections.

According to the revised election schedule, the poll dates in Goa state have been preponed to 12th April 2014. So, the DTE has announced that the GCET 2014 application form submission dates have been extended.

Candidates cam now submit the GCET 2014 application form till 16th April 2014.

How to apply for Goa CET 2014?

Earlier, the last date for the submission of GCET application form without the late fee was 11th April 2014.

Now the last date for submission of application form with a late fee of Rs 1,000/- is 30th April 2014.

Due to requisitioning of ‘Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao‘ for election purpose, applicants intending to opt for GCET centre at Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao may instead opt for any other available centre.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa is all set to conduct Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET 2014) on 06th and 07th May 2014.

GCET 2014 is the qualifying entrance examination which is conducted for admission to Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine and Pharmacy courses in government, government-aided and un-aided colleges, for the academic year 2014-15.

Important dates:

• Last date for receiving the application form is 16th April 2014.
• Last date for receiving the application form with a late fee of Rs 1,000/- is 30th April 2014.
• GCET 2014 entrance exam would be held on 06th & 07th May 2014.
