KCET 2014: One more round of online counselling for medical courses
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore has given the dates for the one more round of online option entry process / online counselling for medical courses in the medical colleges across the state.
As per the supreme court order, Director of Directorate of Medical Education has announced that SC has given the conditional approval for admitting students against increase in intake / renewal of permission for existing intake in the following medical colleges.
- K S Hegde Medical College, Mangalore
- JSS Medical College, Mysore
- JN Medical College, Belgaum
- BGS Global Medical College, Bangalore
- Al-Ameen Medical College, Bijapur
- Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore
- Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore
As per the SC order, these seats would be offered to the candidates who have bot been allotted medical seat in any of the earlier rounds. The interested medical rank holders in CET 2014, who have been allotted seats other than medical seats or have not been allotted any seats, can participate in this round by entering the options afresh.
Scheduled dates:
- Option entry process from 11 AM on September 25 to September 26, up to 10 AM.
- Announcement of results on September 26 at 4 PM.
- Payment of fee and downloading admission order on September 27, 2014.
- Last date for reporting to the colleges in September 28, 2014.
