JCECE Board conducts JCECE 2014 for B.Tech, B.Sc, BHMS admissions

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), Jharkhand, invites applications for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) for the year 2014.

JCECE 2014 entrance examination is conducted for admission to first year degree courses in Engineering, Medical and Agriculture stream in government and private institutes situated in Jharkhand state.

Eligibility:
For Engineering courses (B.Tech):

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised board of examinations.

For Medical (BHMS):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised board of examinations.

For Agriculture (B.Sc in Agriculture, Forestry):

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 45% (40% for SC/ST) of marks from any of the recognised board of examinations.
• Candidate must be 17 years of age as on 01st July 2014.

How to apply:

• Candidates have to apply online.
• Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling the application form.
• Candidates have to pay application fee through debit / credit card / internet banking.

Application fee:

• For PCM & PCB: Rs 275/- for SC / ST candidates; Rs 550/- for general candidates.
• For PCMB: Rs 325/- for SC / ST candidates; Rs 600/- for general candidates.

Important dates:

• Last date for the submission of application form is 12th April 2014.
• JCECE 2014 entrance exam would be held on 27th April 2014.
