How to apply for B.S programmes at BITS Pilani?

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani has declared admissions to Bachelor of Science (B.S) programmes for the academic year 2014.

The B.S. programmes are designed to prepare professionals employed in technical positions in a diverse spectrum of Information Technology and engineering industries, with an appropriately broad background for later advancement into technical or management positions.

How to apply?

• Candidates must apply online.
• Candidates must note down the unique application number assigned to the application form when they download the form from the website.
• The number on the application form is unique. In all subsequent correspondence with the Institute until admissions are finalised this number must be quoted.
• Failure to do this may make it difficult to connect the candidate's correspondence with their application form and may cause results to the candidate's disadvantage.
• The application form consists of 3 sections:

(i) Personal information and educational background.
(ii) Employer consent form.
(iii) Mentor consent form and a checklist.

• All entries should be filled in capital letters.
• Name of the candidate entered must be as per the final or provisional degree / diploma certificate issued by University / Board of Technical Education.

Payment options for application form (requisite processing fees of Rs. 1,500/- (Non-refundable)) can be done using one of the below modes of payment:

• Option 1: Pay Online Payment through Net Banking
• Option 2: Pay Online Payment through Credit Card
• Option 3: Pay Rs. 1525/- through cash at all ICICI Bank branches through a challan(PDF document) which is to be downloaded and printed from the official website before making the payment.
• Option 4: Pay through a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of "BITS, Pilani" payable at:

- ICICI Bank Pilani (Branch Code 1538) or
- State Bank of India, Pilani (Code: 11309) or
- UCO Bank, VidyaVihar, Pilani (Code: 0150) or
- State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Pilani (Code: 10398) or

Note: In case the demand draft is being drawn from any other bank(payable at Jaipur), an amount of Rs. 1600 should be paid.
