How to crack CBSE CTET September 2014

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct Central Teachers Eligibility Entrance Test (CTET) for the September 2014 session for appointment of teachers for class 1 to 8 on September 21, 2014, across the country.

Every year, more than 6 lakh candidates appear for the CTET examination. But cracking the CTET exam is an east task. According to the reports, every year, only around 10% to 12% of candidates clear this examination

Here are the important tips to crack CTET:

Tip 1: The aspirants must prepare according to the pattern, structure and syllabus of the examination. It is very important to know the number of questions, number of sections, duration of the examination and provision of negative marking or not.

Tip 2: Plan a time table and strategies for preparation for the examination. It will help you in answering the questions. In a nutshell, you should know your strengths and weaknesses. Students should follow a pre-planned time table and divide their study hours in different subjects and cover all the subjects and topics accordingly.

Tip 3: Grab the study materials or reference books and old questions papers, it will give you the idea about the examination. The books will guide you to score more marks. Books must provide the latest information about the pattern and syllabus.

Tip 4: Try to attend as many mock tests as possible. It will help you to be more confident in answering questions.

Tip 5: Revision of concepts/chapters/formulas and definition is very important. Finish a detailed reading of all topics you plan to cover at least one and half months before.

Tip 6: Do not strain yourself till the last minute. Leave all your books aside for a few days before the exam. Have a good time and relax.
