GITAM University conducts GAT 2014 for UG and PG programmes admission
GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, is set to conduct GITAM Admission Test (GAT) for the year 2014, for UG and PG programmes, commencing in the session 2014.
GITAM Admission Test (GAT 2014), a computer based online test conducted for admission to UG & PG Technology & Pharmacy programmes in GITAM University at its Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses.
The programmes are offered in:
Undergraduate Programmes:
4 Year B.Tech. Degree: Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering , Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology, Architecture (5 Year B.Tech Programme) and Aeronautical Engineering.
5 Year Dual Degree (B.Tech.+M.Tech.):
B.Tech. + M.Tech. (ECE)
B.Tech. + M.Tech. (Mechanical)
4 Year B.Pharmacy
Postgraduate Programmes:
2 Year M.Tech. Degree: Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Information Technology, RF & Microwave Engineering, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Digital Systems & Signal Processing, Electronic Instrumentation, Structural Engg. & Natural Disaster Management, Power Systems and Automation, Machine Design, CAD/CAM, Industrial Engineering & Management, Biotechnology and Food Processing Technology.

How to apply:
- Candidates should have to apply online.
- Applications are available throughout India in Union Bank of India and Indian Bank branches.
- Applications can be obtained by post from Director-Admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate's name with complete mailing address accompanied by DD for Rs. 1,100/- (Rs. 700/- for female candidates) drawn in favour of GITAM University, should be payable at Visakhapatnam.
- The filled - in application along with Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM UNIVERSITY, should be payable at Visakhapatnam, should reach the below address.
Important Dates:
Last date of receipt of filled in application forms on 31st March 2014.
Online slot booking starts from 6th to 12th April 2014.
Download of e-hall tickets on 6th April 2014.
Online test at different centers from 17th April to 8th May 2014.
