AFCAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Women

Indian Air Force (IAF), issued online application form for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 01/2014) for the courses commencing in January 2014.

Eligibility Conditions for each course:

Flying Branches:

Age: Between 19 to 23 years, i.e born on 02nd Jan 1993 to 01st Jan 1996.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree / B.E / B.Tech in any discipline with 60% of marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

Height & Weight:
Minimum height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight, Leg length: 99 cms, Max 120 cms. Thigh Length: Max 64 cms. Sitting Height: Min 81.5 cms, Max 96 cms.

Technical Branch:

Age: Between 18 to 28 years, i.e born on 02nd Jan 1987 to 01st Jan 1997.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have 4 year Bachelor's degree (B.E / B.Tech) from a recognised university of cleared section A and B examination.

Height & Weight:
Height: 152 cms with correlated weight.

Ground Duty Branches:

Age: (As on 01st January 2015)
For Graduates: 20 to 23 years.
For Postgraduates: 20 to 25 years.
For LL.B: 20 to26 years.
For M.ed /Ph.D / CA /ICWA: 20 to 27 years.

Educational Qualification:
For Administration & Logistics:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate of all papers put together. OR Candidates should have a Postgraduate degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

For Accounts:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in commerce discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate of all papers put together. OR Candidates should have a Postgraduate degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

For Education:
Candidates should have a Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Height & Weight:
Height: 152 cms with correlated weight.
