Esri India, a leading provider of Geographic Information System (GIS) software and solutions, has introduced the 2024 Esri India Young Scholar Programme. This initiative aims to acknowledge and empower undergraduate and postgraduate students from geospatial disciplines nationwide.

The Young Scholar Programme is available to undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled in GIS or related courses at Indian universities. Graduating students in 2024 are also eligible to apply. To participate, students must register by March 10 and submit their projects by March 17. Submissions will be evaluated based on criteria such as creativity, innovation, practical problem-solving, and the effective utilization of Esri technology.

The champions will receive the esteemed 'Esri India Young Scholar of the Year' trophy and certificate, along with a 12-month ArcGIS personal use license. Furthermore, the overall winner will have the opportunity to attend the Esri Education Summit and Esri International User Conference in San Diego in July 2024.
