ESIC Recruitment For Paramedical And Nursing Staff Positions 2019
ESCI under the Ministry of Labour and Employment has called applications to recruit eligible candidates as Paramedics, Nursing Staff and to other allied posts at its West Bengal unit by 21 January 201
The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates to the posts of Paramedical and Nursing Staff to be appointed at the ESIC medical education institutions, hospitals and dispensaries in West Bengal region. The application towards the same must be submitted by 21 January 2019 before 12:00 hrs.
The recruitment is for various positions comprising of Jr MRT (medical record technician), Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab. Assistant, OT Assistant & Medical Social Worker.

Application Fee
All candidates are required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 500/- (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 250/- (Women, SC/ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen) towards the processing of the application. All payments must be made through online (net-banking/debit/credit payment gateways) mode only.
Educational Credentials And Pay Scale
Candidates applying for various posts as under must have the following educational credentials:
- Jr MRT -10+2 or equivalent qualification + six months training as MRT and working knowledge of computers; will be paid under Pay Level 2 in the scale of Rs. 19,900/- to Rs 63,200/- per month
Staff Nurse - Diploma in General Nursing and Midwife and must be a registered nurse with Nursing Council; will be paid under Pay Level 7 in the scale of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs 1,42,400/- per month - Pharmacist (Allopathic) - Degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution and registered as pharmacist under Pharmacy Act. 1948; will be paid under Pay Level 5 in the scale of Rs. 29,200/- to Rs 92,300/- per month
- ECG Technician - Graduate in Science, with one-year experience in handling ECG Machine in a recognized institution; will be paid under Pay Level 4 in the scale of Rs. 25,500/- to Rs 81,100/- per month
Lab. Assistant - 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Diploma in MLT recognized by the AICTE; will be paid under Pay Level 3 in the scale of Rs. 21,700/- to Rs 69,100/- per month - OT Assistant - 10+2 with science or equivalent qualification with one-year experience in O.T. from a recognized Hospital; will be paid under Pay Level 3 in the scale of Rs. 21,700/- to Rs 69,100/- per month
- Medical Social Worker - Degree/Diploma in social work from a Central Govt./State Government/AICTE recognized Institution, with one year working experience in family planning, social work/health education; will be paid under Pay Level 4 in the scale of Rs. 25,500/- to Rs 81,100/- per month

Selection And Application Process
The selection of candidates to various posts will be done through a written examination to be conducted in a single stage/phase and their performance in it along with their academic weightage and work exposure in the relevant fields.
