Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu hire telecallers to lure students

Private engineering colleges in Tamilnadu have adopted new protocol to lure students to take admissions in the engineering colleges.

According to TOI "Thousands of engineering seats in the private colleges are left vacant. The number of vacant seats are increasing every year as students are not showing inclination to take admissions in the private colleges."

Colleges, which are left in lurch, have pitched into telemarketing. Armed with database of class 12 students--telecallers, hired by the private colleges are making regular calls to students, and wooing them to take admission in the private colleges.
