Educationist Jagdish Gandhi among those given Maulana Azad award

Lucknow, February 23: Several eminent personalities were today given Maulana Azad award for their contribution in their respective fields.

At a function organised here by Ittehad-e-Millat Convention, eminent personalities including senior journalist Brijesh Mishra and Farjand Ahmad, educationist Jagdish Gandhi, Naiyar Masood, Prof. Ramesh Dixit, Dr, Sabira Habib were given "Maulana award" for their contribution in their respective fields.

The principal of Nadwat-ul-Uloom seminary Maulana Saeed-ur-Rehman Azmi, noted Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad and Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahli are the patrons of the Convention, which works for unity of the community. PTI
