DU UG Third Merit List 2026: Seat Acceptance Process

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the third round can log in to the DU admission portal and review their allotment details. Those willing to join the allotted college and programme must accept the seat between August 8 and August 11.

After the candidate accepts the allotted seat, the respective college will verify the submitted documents and application details. The verification and approval process will continue until August 12, 2026.

DU UG Merit List 2026: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In cases where two or more candidates have the same Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score, DU will apply the prescribed tie-breaking criteria to determine the order of merit.

According to the admission information, Class 12 marks and age will be considered for resolving ties between candidates with the same CUET score.

DU UG Admissions 2026: Ward Quota Schedule

The admission schedule also includes a separate round for candidates applying under the Ward Quota.

For the Ward Quota round, seat allocation is scheduled for August 10, 2026. Candidates allotted seats under this category will be able to accept them on August 10 and 11.

College verification for Ward Quota candidates will continue until August 12, while the final deadline for fee payment is August 13, 2026.
