The University of Delhi has released the schedule for spot admissions into undergraduate programs as part of Spot Round-I. A total of 72,263 seats are available for this round. The application process will open on September 18 at 10 am and close on September 19 at 11:59 pm, according to the official website admission.uod.ac.in.

Spot Admission Process:
Candidates who have registered for the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS-UG)-2024 but have not secured admission by September 17 are eligible to participate in Spot Round-I. To apply, candidates must log into their dashboard and select the "Spot Admission" option. The seat allocation results will be published on September 21 at 3 pm.
Once a seat is allocated, candidates must accept it by 11:59 pm on September 22. The deadline to make the online payment and confirm the seat is 4:59 pm on September 24. Candidates can only choose program-college combinations where seats are available, based on their respective categories.
Important Guidelines:
The university's notification highlights that once a seat is allocated in the spot round, candidates must accept it without the option to upgrade or withdraw. As stated, "The seat allocated in a particular spot round will be final and will not be upgraded in any subsequent admission rounds."
Furthermore, after 5 pm on September 17, all admitted candidates' dashboards will be locked in a freeze mode, meaning they will no longer have the option to withdraw from the admissions process. If a candidate fails to accept an allocated seat during the spot round, they will lose their eligibility for admission to Delhi University and will be excluded from the CSAS-UG 2024 admission process.
This well-defined process ensures transparency and efficiency, offering students a clear timeline and procedure to secure their admission at Delhi University.
