DU CSAS UG Round 3 Schedule 2026 Released; Mid-Entry Registration Starts August 3

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the Round 3 schedule for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2026. Along with the admission timeline, the university has announced a mid-entry registration window for candidates who were unable to apply during the earlier phases of the admission process.

The mid-entry facility will open on August 3, 2026, offering eligible students another opportunity to participate in the ongoing admission process for the 2026-27 academic session.

According to the university, more than 71,000 candidates have already confirmed their admissions through the first two rounds of CSAS-UG seat allocation. The third round aims to fill the remaining vacant seats across various undergraduate programmes offered by Delhi University colleges.

Candidates opting for the DU CSAS UG 2026 mid-entry facility must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 to participate in the admission process. The mid-entry registration window will be available from 10:00 am on August 3 to 4:59 pm on August 5, 2026. Once the registration process is complete, candidates will be allowed to modify and reorder their preferred colleges and undergraduate programmes during the preference editing window from August 6 (10:00 am) to August 7 (4:59 pm). The revised preferences submitted by candidates will be considered for the Round 3 seat allocation under the DU CSAS UG 2026 admission process.

As per the official admission schedule, the DU CSAS UG Round 3 seat allocation result will be announced on August 8, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Candidates who receive a seat allotment must accept their allocated seat between August 8 and August 10 (4:59 pm). The respective colleges will verify and approve applications from August 8 to August 11, and candidates must complete the admission process by paying the required fee on or before August 11 (4:59 pm).

Who Can Apply Through DU CSAS UG Mid-Entry?

The mid-entry option is available for candidates who did not register for CSAS-UG 2026 during the initial application period. It provides a fresh opportunity for eligible students who have already appeared in CUET UG 2026 but were unable to participate in the earlier admission rounds. Such candidates can complete the registration process by paying the prescribed mid-entry fee and become eligible for subsequent seat allocation rounds, subject to seat availability.
