DU 3rd cutoff list on July 8, students expect percentages to go down

DU 3rd cutoff list on July 8

Delhi University is all set to release its 3rd cutoff list on July 7 (evening) or 8. Students are expecting that percentages of many colleges may go down.

According to DU, most of the colleges have closed their admissions. Only 30 affiliated colleges of DU are open for admissions in popular courses.

Colleges offering admissions:

  • Hindu College
  • Hansraj College
  • Miranda House
  • Sri Venkateswara College
  • Lady Shri Ram College
  • Kamala Nehru
  • Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College

These colleges offered admissions in subjects like Economics, English, Philosophy, Sociology, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

However, LSR is likely to offer B.Com (Hons) for general category students in 3rd list.

"We can now see cutoffs decreasing between 0.25 percentage points to as much as 5 percentage points. However, the decrease will continue to be marginal for courses like BCom (honours) and other popular courses. BA, BSc and BCom programme courses are likely to remain open in maximum colleges," said a principal of South Campus college.
