The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB), under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, has released an advertisement, invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates (male and female) for filling 3,359 vacancies to the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT - Sociology, Economics, Hindi, Computer Science, Political Science, Agriculture, Graphics, Sanskrit, Urdu, Geography, History, Physical Education, Home Science, Engineering Drawing, Fine Arts, Physical Education, Music ), Physical Education Teacher (PET), Domestic Science Teacher, Music Teacher, Drawing Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT - Computer Science) and Librarians through direct selection.

The online application process towards the same will commence from January 24, 2020 onwards and close on February 23, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for PGT, TGT, etc. posts through DSSSB Recruitment must fall in the age group between 30 to 36 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as applicable as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 (GEN/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/debit/credit, etc, payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/Women and PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for PGT, TGT, etc. posts through DSSSB Recruitment must possess a Master's Degree in concerned discipline with Degree/Diploma in Training/Education; B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in relevant disciplines from a recognised Board/University/Institute with desirable work experience in the concerned field as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to PGT, TGT, etc. posts through DSSSB Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected to PGT, TGT, etc. posts through DSSSB Recruitment will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month.
