DRDO Scholarship Scheme For Girls In Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Apply Online For 30 Posts

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through the Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO HQ, New Delhi, has called for online applications from the Girls/Women candidates studying in first year of Under Graduate (BE/B.TECH) and Post-Graduate (M.TECH/ME) for granting 30 Scholarships under the "DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls" in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Space & Rocketry, Avionics or Aircraft Engineering on a fulltime basis to be posted in New Delhi, India. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same started on August 15, 2020 and closes on November 15, 2020.

DRDO Scholarship: Educational Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 must possess a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc; M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/Space & Rocketry/Avionics/Aircraft engineering from a NCVT/SCVT recognised University/Institute as detailed in the notification.

DRDO Scholarship: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, candidates' academic performance and merit of JEE (Main) for first year Under-Graduates, and valid GATE score on merit basis for first-year Post-Graduates as specified in the notification.

Candidates selected for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 will be paid an annual scholarship of Rs.1,20,000 (under-graduates) and Rs.1,86,000 (post-graduates) respectively.
