DRDO Scholarship Scheme For Girls 2020: Apply Online For 30 Vacancies in Aerospace Engineering

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through the Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO HQ, New Delhi, has invited online applications from the Girls/Women candidates studying in first year of Under Graduate (BE/B.TECH) and Post-Graduate (M.TECH/ME) for filling 30 vacancies under the "DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/Space & Rocketry/Avionics/Aircraft Engineering. The online registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from July 19, 2020 and closes on September 30, 2020.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 must possess a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc; M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/Space & Rocketry/Avionics/Aircraft engineering from a NCVT/SCVT recognised University/Institute as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, candidates' academic performance and merit of JEE (Main) for first year Under-Graduates, and valid GATE score on merit basis for first-year Post-Graduates as specified in the notification.

Candidates selected for Scholarships under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls 2020 will be paid an annual scholarship of Rs.1,20,000 (under-graduates) and Rs.1,86,000 (post-graduates) respectively as per the post.
