Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), has released an advertisement for a total of 36 Apprentice Trainees. Interested candidates who meet all the prerequisites set by the organising body can apply till July 6, 2018.

- ITI Trade Certificate holders in fitter, turner and machinist trades - 20
- Sandwich course of diploma in chemical engineering - 06
- Diploma holders in electronics & communications engineering - 05
- Graduate holders in electronics & communications engineering - 05
Educational Qualification
A candidate can apply for the posts of Technician and Graduate Apprentice with a degree in engineering or technology. For more information related to educational qualification, visit the official notification.
Age Limit
One should have attained an age of 14 years and to apply for the Trades Apprentice post, candidates should have attained 18 years as on 1st June 2018. No upper age limit.
Pay Scale
DRDO offers stipends to the apprentice trainees. According to the official notification, the stipend for the posts are as follows:
Graduate Apprentice - Rs 4984/-
Technician Apprentice - Rs 3542/-
Sandwich Students - Rs 2890/-
Trade Apprentice - Rs 8878/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for the posts based on a shortlisting process. The selected candidates after joining the trainee's apprenticeship training will be referred to as Apprentice Trainees.
