DRDO Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For 290 Scientists B And Engineers Post. Earn Up To Rs. 56,100

Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), through the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC), has invited online applications from graduate engineers and post-graduates in Science for filling 290 vacancies to post of Scientists B and Engineers in various disciplines comprising Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Metallurgy, Material Science, Civil Engineering, Geology, Instrumentation Engineering, Textile Engineering, Production/Industrial Production Engineering and Food Science through direct recruitment.

Shortlisted candidates will be placed in DRDO, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and Gallium Arsenide Enabling Technology Centre (GAETEC). The applications process towards the same starts from August 10, 2019 and closes on August 31, 2010.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Scientists B and Engineers post through DRDO Recruitment 2019 must have attained 28 years of age and not be more than 35 years as on August 31, 2010 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC) and 5 years (SC/ST) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only. However, SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Scientists B and Engineers through DRDO Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidates' academic performance, GATE score (2017/2018/2019) in relevant discipline and Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Scientists B and Engineers will be paid an emolument of Rs. 56,100 per month.
