DRDO NPOL Kochi Recruitment 2019 For Trade Apprentices In Multiple Trades; Walk-In-Selection

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), India's premier military research and development agency through the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals for engagement of 30 Trade Apprentices in multiple trades/disciplines through a 'Walk-In-Interview' selection scheduled on 14 March 2019 between 09.00 am and 10.00 am.

The recruitment for various trades/disciplines comprises Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Draughtsman (Mech), Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, COPA, Welder (Gas & Eletric) and Library Assistant.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in joining as Trade Apprentices through DRDO NPOL Kochi Recruitment must meet the age criteria as on 07 March 2019 as detailed in the notification given at the end of the article.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Trade Apprentices in multiple trades through DRDO NPOL Kochi Recruitment must possess qualifications as under:

Candidates applying for the post of Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Draughtsman (Mech), Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic must possess a 2 year ITI in the respective trades from a recognised institute/organisation.

Candidates applying for the post of COPA and Welder (Gas & Eletric) must possess a 1 year ITI in respective disciplines/trades from a recognised institute/organisation.

Candidates applying for the post of Library Assistant must possess an ITI/ITC in Library and Information Science.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Trade Apprentices in multiple trades through DRDO NPOL Kochi Recruitment will be done based on the candidate's performance in the 'Walk-In-Interview.'

Candidates selected as Trade Apprentices in multiple trades will be paid a monthly stipend in the range of Rs. 5,700/- to Rs. 7000/- per month.

Candidates applying for the post of Trade Apprentices in multiple trades through DRDO NPOL Kochi Recruitment must fill the application form in a prescribed format attached with the advertisement, and produce the same along with original supporting documents/certificates and photocopies of the same along with recent colour passport photograph at the time of Interview.
