- Physics: Postgraduate degree in Physics with first division and a valid NET qualification.
- Mechanical Engineering: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with first division and valid NET/GATE score, or ME/M.Tech with consistent academic excellence.
- Electronics & Communication Engineering: BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication Engineering with first division and valid NET/GATE score, or ME/M.Tech with distinction.
