DRDO-DESIDOC Apprentice Recruitment 2019

Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence has called for recruitment of apprentices for one-year training under its several disciplines.

The Defence Centre has called for a walk-in-interview for filling up the apprentices' post at its end for the year 2019 in various disciplines - Library and Information Science, Computer Science and Photography in discharging of responsibilities towards gathering, processing and dissemination of necessary technical information for DRDO scientists.

Candidates who have already obtained apprenticeship training in the above-mentioned disciplines with any institute/organisation are not eligible for the application, and only those who have passed/obtained their degree/diploma in the above disciplines after 2016 or later can apply.

Qualifications:

• Candidates applying for Apprentice under Library and Information Science discipline should have a Diploma in Library Science or a degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute.
• Applicants for the Computer Science discipline must have a Degree in Computer Science (B.Tech only) from a recognized University/Institute.
• Applicants for the Photography discipline must have a Diploma in Photography from a recognized Institute
