Dr. Sarla Bangalore, a student of Government Homoeopathic Medical College, who did her specialisation in Homoeopathy, has won 17 awards out of 18, in her college. She has received these awards as she scored the highest in various subjects.
Apart from winning the gold medal from Rajeev Gandhi University for Health and Sciences, she also scored the first position in the overall list of toppers. She was followed by Dr. Sufia Farheen and Dr. Kalpana M Sharma, as both the ladies managed to grab second and third position respectively.
While speaking to media, few students rolled out that government run hospitals do not provide them good opportunities. When asked about their career plans, most of them shared the same voice of opening their private clinics.
The star of the show, Dr. Sarla says "I would also visit HD Kote as I understand that there is a need of medical assistance". However, her fellow-mates had a different opinion as both have decided to open a private clinic in Bangalore city.
Dr. BT Rudresh, Karnataka Homoeopathy Medical Association President says "According to a survey conducted in 12 districts, 10% of the population opted for homoeopathy medicines."
